Richfield is arguably the most beautiful LL chondrite known, however there is very little of this space rock available to collectors. Most of the total mass recovered is exhibited in museums and a few private collections. This partial slice displays dozens of 2 mm diameter chondrules with amazingly diverse crystal structures, plus the very large 3 and 4 mm diameter pyroxene chondrules seen in the photo.
